We plan to launch a new outreach TV program called Women in Focus in this current term (2004-2008). Through this program, we intend to reach the seven largest cities of India – Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Lucknow, and Kolkata.  The TV program will be recorded in English and hosted by Indian women. Special interests and issues relating to women and families will be spotlighted during the program. The Women in Focus magazine will be advertised during the program for follow-up opportunities and development of the magazine readership.

About one billion people in India and many homes now have TVs. Mumbai, popularly known as ‘Bollywood’, is the entertainment capital of the world. This program will be strategic in reaching into Hindu and Muslim homes we otherwise wouldn't have had the opportunity to minister to.

Every TV program will cost $800 for prime airtime for a 30-minute broadcast. We will begin by offering the first program in Chennai and then opening up additional programs in other cities as the Lord provides the funds. Please pray with us for this much-needed ministry focus.

The Lord has provided television support for one program to be launched monthly in Chennai.    We need other supporters to come alongside of us to enable us to open the program in the other cities.  Please let me know if you are able to assist in another city through monthly financial support.
