Church Builders Project
Rose of Sharon Assembly of God, Bangalore
Located on the outskirts of Bangalore city in Karnataka, India,
since its beginning in the year 2003 this church has been through much persecution. Placed
right in the middle of Hindu stronghold, this Church has constantly been targeted,
threatened and driven out at least three times. But God has been faithful and this church
has experienced tremendous growth.
Presently, the church worship services are being conducted in an
open terrace in a house belonging to a believer. Even here, Pastor Jeyakumar and the
church believers continue to face opposition and threats. By the grace of God, the church
has managed to acquire land for a church facility to accommodate a growing congregation.

Pastor Jeyakumar and family
The immediate requirement is $4500 for registration of this land.
Failure to register it immediately would result in the loss of land acquired. For more
details on what the Lord is doing in and through this church, please review the November,
2005 and February 2006 newsletter.
Please inform me if you wish to contribute towards this important
church project. Contributions are to be marked to Account No. 2280907, Rose of Sharon,
Bangalore. Thank you!
Faith Assembly of God, Salem, Tamil Nadu
 |
When I visited this church in October 2005, their
worship service had just been shifted from a small place to a relatively large ground. The
church structure then and as it stands now has just metal sheets serving as roofs and
without walls or flooring. |
The church is in need of $1670 for the flooring and $1120 for
raising the walls. The church has been growing so fast that the place had to be extended
further for their Christmas service in December 2005. Pastor S. Joseph has now decided to
hold two services in the coming months.
Please pray about extending your hand of support to this church
project. Your contributions to such church building projects will help usher in countless
Indians into the very presence of the Almighty. Contributions to this project may be
marked to Account No. 2280907, Faith Assembly of God, Salem.
Assembly of God, Srivaikuntam, Tamil Nadu
This church is a pioneering project pastored by Rev. John Kennedy.
Srivaikuntam is a very small township but teeming with thousands of Hindus. Currently, the
church services are being held in a rented building. As the congregation continues to
grow, plans for a new church building with a capacity for at least 350 people are in
progress. To lay the foundation for this church structure and to begin construction work,
$2500 is urgently required.
I invite you to partner in this special project through your giving
and your prayers. Contributions are to be marked to Account No. 2280907 Assembly of God,
Srivaikuntam. Thank you!
CHURCH BUILDER WANTED:
Focus on New Life Assembly of God, Chennai, India
On a rainy day, the 25th
of November 1973, New Life
Assembly of God began with 7 people under the able, godly leadership of Pastor David and
Getzial Mohan. On the day I preached at New Life Assembly of God there were over
28,000 in attendance. Services began at 5:00 a.m. and ran throughout Sunday on four
different levels of the church building. The unbelievable reality is that these
hungry believers crowd into just one acre of land for church services.

Sister Mohan preaching
Pastor David and Getzial
Mohan, with the help of the Lord, have purchased 25 acres of prime land to begin the
construction of a new facility, the New Life Celebration Center. This new
center would seat 50,000 people for the first phase of the construction project. The
second phase will house training centers, prayer gardens and a home for aged pastors.

Tamilnadu Dist. Womens Committee Commissioning Service
New Life A/G is a sending center for
missionaries to the North of India and surrounding countries. This prayerful church
is the gateway to the revival we are seeing happen in India today. Pastor Mohan is
setting a tremendous sacrificial pace of leadership that challenges other leaders to
emulate his selflessness.
He has been a tremendous encourager to
me personally. It was Pastor David and Getzial Mohan who welcomed me first to India
in 1997. After a morning Sunday service, Pastor Mohan and his wife invited me
to tea. When I asked what way I could be a blessing in India, Pastor Mohan responded
prophetically that the women of India needed me. He didn't know about the vision I
had in 1984 of a young Indian woman. It has been Pastor Mohan (along with Pastor
Rajamoni) who have opened the doors for us to touch the lives of women like never before
in India.

Lois Mayes speaking at New Life A/G
I count it a privilege to be able to partner with him in any way possible and firmly
believe this is a key center for what God is doing in Asia
today. I invite you to partner with him in prayer and through giving to assist in
the building of New
Life
Celebration
Center.
